It wasn’t all that long ago the SCREEN name first became synonymous with prepress excellence in the commercial printing industry with its SigmaGraph scanner in the ‘80s. Cezanne scanner in the ‘90s. And PlateRite CTP and Trueflow workflow in the ‘00s.
Well, now it’s the 2020s and SCREEN is flat out taking the commercial printing market by storm with installations of its Truepress Jet520 high-speed inkjet technology. As the leading OEM of roll-fed inkjet presses, both SCREEN and partner branded, SCREEN has more print engines installed than any other manufacturer – now over 1,700 printers powering press operations across the globe.
Commercial printers are shedding their offset presses and tired, early vintage digital toner machines in favor of industry-leading, SCREEN Truepress technology to fill their need for both short- and long-run, high-speed/high-quality print production.
And with push-button ease of use that doesn’t require a highly-trained operator, the forecast for print profitability with SCREEN has never been in better focus.
SCREEN was independently established as a venture company in 1943, after the Photographic Glass Screen Research Division broke away from Ishida Kyokuzan Printing Works, which was founded in 1868.
The Truepress Jet520HD series of high-definition inkjet web presses deliver realistic images that expand the boundaries of inkjet printing.
